British people are making themselves a bit of a naughty background. More and more countries claim they are used to see Brits as drunk and acting like idiots.

Ever heard of the Nurburgring? The enormous racetrack in western Germany, located in a quiet mountain setting. Over recent years this became an absolutely dominating British petrol heads holiday attraction as the arrive-and-drive system is far more comfortable than booking a trackday at Silverstone or any other British circuit. In fact, at the so called Ring, you will hear more English than German spoken. That just says how many of them come weekend. During the days many of inexperienced Hamilton wannabes crash and leave the place on a flatbed lorry. But the real embarrassment starts when the night comes. Normally a super quiet, tidy and peaceful village of Nurburg has his few little streets packed with drunk, singing, bust mostly just shouting lads, showing the locals how to party in the British way. This is pretty awkward, but it is true, and this one-of-many fact has been proven by statistics.

The same story goes in other tourist attracting places. Thousands of them get arrested in Spain. French police had to deal with 153 peace-disturbing folks from the UK in less than a year. Majority of them were arrested for “abuse of alcohol and inappropriate behaviour”. Nearly 7000 of the citizens have lost their passports in Spain. 10 times less had to receive hospital service. And it is like that in Greece and Thailand too. Not a great image for the land of kings and queens.
