According to the F1 driver himself, his father Anthony always tells him how to drive, but after making the headlines on Thursday, it seems, the old man will have to cut that down a little.

Burnham Green, Hertfordshire has witnessed an awkward moment for Anthony Hamilton, 48, who was driving a borrowed Porsche Carrera GT with his wife Linda and eventually crashed it after trying to show off. The car, capable of doing 62 mph in less than 4 seconds is known to have a rather sporty clutch, which can be tough to deal with for mediocre drivers. And this, it seems, was the case this time as well as Mr. Hamilton was trying to entertain the onlookers by revving up the engine, just to lose control of his Porsche, spin it around and end up in a children’s playground by breaking through bushes and a wooden fence.

Later on he claimed it was his first crash in 30 years for which he was extremely sorry. It is incredibly fortunate that is all he is sorry for as there were no children in the playground at the time.

I guess now Lewis will no longer be bothered by his dad shouting at him for not allowing an old lady cross the road.
